Our Story
Hi, I’m Sammy, founder of Bangkok Roosters. I grew up surrounded by the sights, smells, and energy of my family’s restaurant in Thailand.
Some of my best memories are from behind the counter: watching my parents cook, learning the rhythms of service, and tasting everything along the way. Food has always been part of my life.
I learned that food is more than just a meal—it’s a way to care for people and bring them together.
After my childhood in the family kitchen, I pursued a career as a flight attendant, traveling the world and learning the importance of hospitality, attention to detail, and making people feel welcomed wherever they are. Yet no matter where I went, the taste I missed most was the comforting chicken rice from home.
I spent years perfecting my recipe, blending the flavors I grew up with, starting with my favorite the classic Khao Man Gai and then expanding into other favorite street-style chicken dishes like Roasted Thai chicken with traditional Spicy and tangy “Jaew” sauce, and more.
Today, Bangkok Roosters brings authentic Bangkok street flavors to the community—classic Thai comfort food reimagined for a new generation with every step carefully crafted, from fragrant ginger rice to bold, house-made sauces, using only quality ingredients.
